Most visitors to Jamaica have heard of the healing waters of Rockfort Mineral Bath and the powerful minerals to be found at Milk River. But less well known is Bubbling Spring in St Elizabeth. It’s such a long way to go though right? True, it is. However, if you’re visiting Treasure Beach, you’ll likely drive right past this place. Which is handy, especially if you’ve over-indulged in rum and Red Stripe whilst enjoying all things beach. So, plan a stop here and submerge yourself in these healing waters before that long drive back to K-Town and you’ll be happy you did.
Close to Middle Quarters, the waters here are quietly famous for their healing powers. They’re rich with sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, copper (and probably loads more of the good periodic table elements). With copper helping to protect the cardiovascular, skeletal and nervous system. The waters here are said to be beneficial for those suffering from arthritis and osteoporosis.
